Three Men In A Boat is a novel written by Jerome K Jerome in 1889. A humorous tale of three men who feel listless and lethargic, so decide to take a holiday together by rowing a small boat up the river Thames. The novel is a classic, and many of the observations within it still resonate today. The three reprobates shown below decided to re-create the adventure in a mode which is far from authentic (for example, our boat will have an engine, and the dog will be inflatable). order to do preliminary research, refine the details of the plan and basically
ensure that all pre-requisites are in place. So we flew to London, drank
beer in lots of pubs, took the tourist bus, the London Eye, and Tea in Fortnum
and Mason's. Click HERE to see what fun we had. One of the highlights was while we were sitting outside a pub near Regent Street. A big black Mercedes pulled up alongside us and 2 very glamorous young ladies were inside it. Click HERE to watch how they try to park it (video uploaded to YouTube by Captain Lulu).
